When is the last time you thought of what you HAVE?

Maybe it’s been a while since you last thought of…

…what you have — as opposed to what you are and what you do.

Did you make a list? If not, expect to be surprised by how long the list of you-haves is. In fact, it’s too long for a post. But not to worry. I’m working on a book called YOU that will address what you have in full.

But until the YOU book can be bought for you or your friends, I’ll cover the you-haves below in the days ahead — interested in getting your feedback, curious to see what you think. Hang in there, stay tuned.

You HAVE

A BODY

  • WITHIN/INSIDE: Like your heart, brain, and other organs, can be felt but not seen.
  • WITHOUT/OUTSIDE: Like other peoples’ bodies, can be felt, touched, and seen.

WORDS

  • FOR EVERYTHING: Including nothing.
  • FOR EVERYTHING YOU KNOW: With zero exceptions.

IDENTITY

  • ON PAPER: According to your name, your family, your friends, your school, and your government.

COMMON SENSES

  • FEEL
  • SEE
  • HEAR
  • SMELL
  • TASTE
  • TOUCH

CHOICES

  • INFINITE: More choices than you could handle in a thousand years.
  • Also known as possibilities, opportunities, and problems.

TIMES & MOMENTS

  • GOOD
  • BAD
  • ROLLERCOASTER
  • HELTER SKELTER
  • And everything in between.

A STORY

  • A PAST STORY OF YOU or A FUTURE STORY OF YOU: Any story told will always be now.

BELIEFS

  • NOTHING IS BELIEVED UNTIL IT’S TRUE.

ABILITY

  • DO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE OVER 500 ABILITIES IN TOTAL? (According to the dictionaries that is)
  • ONLY ONE (1) MATTERS: YOUR ABILITY TO RESPOND. The other 500 merely support your ability to respond.

IMAGINATION

  • YOU IMAGINE WITHIN YOU: Your self-image, also known as your self-esteem.
  • YOU IMAGINE WITHOUT YOU: Everything else. The world. The solar system.

HABITS

  • GOOD HABITS: You know the good they’re causing from the start.
  • BAD HABITS: You’ll never know the damage caused until it’s too late.

KNOWLEDGE

  • “The only source of knowledge is experience.” – Albert Einstein

TRUTH

  • TRUTH = PERSPECTIVE: To each their own.

PURPOSE

  • PURPOSE = BELIEF: Do you believe you have a purpose? If so, then you believe that you’re not alone, but that evolution, energy, fire, air, earth, water, cells, plants, eyes, brains, words, and other word-users have a purpose, too, don’t you?

POSSESSIONS

  • TO EACH THEIR OWN.

STYLE

  • TO EACH THEIR OWN.

Missing from the list of the you-haves is energy. That’s because energy is not what you have, but what you are. Don’t know what that means? Then I suggest you read “WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU THOUGHT OF WHAT YOU ARE?” again.
