I realised, just in time, that I’m disposable
After I realised, just in time, that I’m disposable whenever I, they, or it decide, I laid myself off from a job and friends that I cared for for 26 years, on December 31st, 1999, and I’ve been a solopreneur ever since.
I haven’t looked back, safe in my decision to be coeurageous when I fear, grateful when I miss, and joyful should I regret.
In the 24 years since laying myself off, I tried different ways to make money, but only until I realised that unless I join the guild of counterfeiters or national banks, making money isn’t what I’m cut out for.
So I decided to earn my money, which got me into a rollercoaster from living the charmed life to unable to pay my bills to back to the even more charmed life of angels, muses, fairies, genies, family, and friends around me, and seeing myself with kind eyes again. Next month I’ll move into a new apartment across the town where I was born.
That said, I’ll never experience again an experience I made in 2016, because 8 years ago I not only looked at but actually saw that a word is a word for the first time since I spoke my first. And as the saying goes, the rest is history.
TAKEAWAY
Since no English word-user knows the difference between story and history, the rest is story.
Because everything in the past is a story.
Part of that story is that I’m the author of THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY and that I can help you, if so inclined, to know what you are and how it all began. Maybe today, otherwise later.
