The multiple stages of the end of you
How many stages are there to dying? Nobody knows though all kinds of things are being said depending on what is saying them. Some say death includes denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, and as always, what to believe is a question of character and personal preferences, to each their own.
To me, death will be simply back to where I come from. I knew this when I was born and I know it now. Even heart surgery (which I narrowly survived) can be a blessing or a curse.
Long story short, before the end of you is near, it pays off to forget the lies that many of us have been told, and to recall what you’re made of instead — that is energy, cells, water, and fire, air, and earth, the percentages of which are below.
ENERGY (100%): “Cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be changed from one form to another.” – Albert Einstein
CELLS (100%): As the cells organized themselves into you in the beginning, so they will after you’re gone.
WATER 70%): “All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full.” – Richard Brautigan
FIRE (?%): Who knows?
AIR (?%): Back to air.
EARTH (?%): Back to earth.
Don’t worry if the math doesn’t add up. It will in the end.
Recalling what you’re made of, instead of the lies we’ve been told, gives you assurance that what you are will simply return to where it came from.
Put differently, there’s no need to live in fear of the stages of death. On the contrary, look forward to them in peace.
Because the only thing that will be gone when you are, will be words.
You will die as you began, wordless.

Not being afraid of death, I can agree with most of it.
Interesting quotes, I like especially that from Tennesse Williamas, Ernest Hermingway and Pablo Neruda.
And I like very much the song “it’s a circle game”
Can is a good start, and I appreciate that we’re on the same page re the quotes and the song.
