A thinking model helps you decide what’s best for you.
An outstanding thinking model knows that logic is based on the Greek logos.
Had logos been translated, it would now be wording and more English word-users would know what they’re doing.
What can be denied only by confirming it, is that every thought we think is a word — the word we’re about to say next (aloud or in self-talk makes no difference).
An outstanding thinking model understands that thinking is wording — as opposed to what the smartphones want you to believe, such as thoughtful, thinkingly, non-thinking, logic, rational, reasonable, reflective, and other such poop.
It follows that an outstanding thinking model simplifies words and helps you decide what’s best for you in all aspects — your health, relationships (including with words), work, business, money, and investing.
Unless you read this post by mistake, you want to you arrive somewhere on purpose, safe from decisions that will rob you of your dreams, as opposed to nowhere on no dreams.
Your journey from first to last breath — that everybody’s on — is contrary to popular belief not a 100-meter dash, but a marathon that you you’ll never know how short or long it’ll last before it’s done and over with.
Your resources for that journey, everyone’s resources, are energy and time. Energy is variable, under your control, to each their own. Time is 24 hours a day, outwith your control, identical for everything.
There’s an extra resource for us, the word-users, words. However, most word-users experience their thoughts as separate from words, in an attempt to achieve peace of mind. Because the pursuit of peace of mind is difficult when everybody tries to survive under a daily avalanche of words, also known as information overload.
As a single footstep will not make a path, so a single word will not condition a brain. To condition your brain, as opposed to having it conditioned by others for you, you must think of the words you want to dominate your experience.
You cannot directly control circumstances, but you can decide words, thereby indirectly shaping your circumstances. When words are used, they become energy, and in the end, your journey is the result of the energy and words you use all day long.
Words rule the world. Whether you like it or not. In the beginning is the word. There’s nothing you can do about it, except change your words and you change your world.
An outstanding thinking model emphasizes managing words and energy over time. Energy and words are the key to high performance and personal renewal, to prevent burnout and improve productivity.
To provide this outstanding thinking model, I’m delighted to announce that I’m working on THE SIMPLE METHOD, a proprietary product inspired by the above. As you’d expect from the book’s title, it’ll come complete with the outstanding thinking model.
Until THE SIMPLE METHOD can be bought, I intend to share with all of you, on LinkedIn and in the weeks ahead, bits and pieces of THE SIMPLE METHOD.
