Word explosion #17 explained we’re in the same boat and you therefore DO respond to words whether you want it or not.
Remember the simple “Word=Response” formula?
Then the previous, #21, focused on what many word-users find hard to believe: The relationship between you and words is the only relationship you’ll ever have.
Now word explosion #22 looks at the 3rd dimension of you…

…what you HAVE
YOU
This is a surprise to many word-users.
According to the dictionaries, internet, smartphones, and AI you have over 200,000 English words to deal with — 25,000 daily — with more getting added as time goes by if days gone by are anything to go by.
Even more surprising to even more word-users is the fact among the over 200,000 English words, there exist over 520 abilities that you also have like it or not.
GOOD
That’s good news if over 200,000 words including 520 abilities exceed the number you thought you had.
BAD
It’s terrible news if you believe you know or manage 520 abilities on top of the 200,000 other English words without thinking twice.
The word-masters only know too well it’s impossible for any word-user to deal with the daily avalanche of 25,000 words.
Why do you think they bury the word-users under a 25,000-word-avalanche day after day? What do you think information overload describes? Do you believe these things happen by accident?
MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE AGAIN
If you’re looking for the right time to make the impossible possible again, now is the time.
If you’re still looking for the best time to distrust your smartphone, AI, internet, and dictionaries, now is the right time.
If not now, then when?
WORDS
Ability is frequently mistaken for ibility. That explains, among others, why responsable is now spelled responsible.
No word-user knows what an ibility is.
Do you?
WORD-USE
How does anyone, let alone you, know, manage, or use, on top of the over 200,000 other English words, 520 abilities partly mistaken for ibilities?
I don’t have a clue.
Do you?
