HONEST WARNING: Words don’t (do anything)
Some readers will be surprised by the honest warning, but for others it’s nothing but a warning they’re used to, like the signal on their smartphone that the battery is low:
WORDS DON’T (DO ANYTHING): They don’t matter*, live, mean, or sense.
If you believe that words matter, live, mean, or sense, that means you presuppose that words have the organs required.
But when you look at words with open eyes, you can clearly see they don’t possess organs, my friend, beyond the shadow of a doubt.
On the contrary, the one with the organs is you, the word-user, or somebody like you, of which there are approximately 9 billion all over the world.
It’s the word-users, the sensational ones, that, if so inclined, can breathe energy into words, give them meaning, and make sense of them.
In the wordless world — also known as nature — of the energy, electricity, fire, air, fire, water, cells, plants, and wordless animals (domesticated excluded) — words don’t make sense.
But in the wordful world, if you don’t give meaning to words, maybe because you must do other things first, others are more than happy to do it for you.
But watch it, if you let them, you lose, simply because you can’t win with a losing hand.
*I previously described that words don’t matter here.
I’d love to hear from you…
