Energy’s character is that it can be detected only by instruments especially built for the purpose, including the LUX-Zeplin in South Dakota (USA), the world’s most sensitive detector which is able to detect the smallest energy in the universe, that of the neutrino, also known as the ghost particle. But in contrast to the ghost particle, words possess zero matter. Words are the only thing in the universe with zero matter and zero energy.

Never before has it been considered that the ghost particle would be beat by words, until now. Hence they defy our understanding of how the universe works.

Words are undetectable inside of you, me, and approximately 9 billion like us, by even the most sensitive machines built for the purpose on Earth. But don’t worry, be grateful instead.

As luck would have it, we have what it takes to detect words within each of us. We’re born with more sense than the most sensitive machines on Earth. The sensational ones, the ones with the senses, are us, the word-users.

Despite this, we don’t detect words even in broad daylight. That’s because words have one thing in common with the stars — they behave like them. Like the stars are there even in the full sun, so are the words. The reason we don’t see them is we mistake them for what they describe. We look at a star and think it’s a star. We don’t see that star is a word. We’re fooling ourselves, and each other.

Therefore, it won’t be a surprise to you that if I discover anything as stupid as “we must distrust words”, I find it difficult to imagine what’s going on in the person who wrote those words. I’m grateful I’m not him or her.

To believe that words can be distrusted implies the word-user that wrote those words believes that words have the organs required.
If you agree that words have organs, you’re likely to believe any word on any wall, in any book, on the news, or on the internet/social media, in short any word at all.

The beauty of simplicity: Understanding the past through the lens of stimulus response

The vast expanse of Earth’s past can be written in a simple little formula.

Stimulus, Response.

Creation, Evolution, Invention

The events that have transformed our planet can be described as creations, evolutions, or inventions.

Who says de-scribe says it takes a scribe to de-scribe anything, and the only specie on Earth that uses words to de-scribe creations, evolutions, or inventions are we, the word-users.

Everybody knows that words don’t de-scribe the world, but that words only de-scribe how the word-users de-scribe what we’re looking at.

This is why the events that led up to you and me are de-scribed as creation, evolution, or inventions, that the world is de-scribed as inexistent, flat, round, small, or what’s next, and why you is described as inexistent, ancestor, human, homo sapiens, word-user, or whatever will be next.

Don’t underestimate the impact of words

Don’t underestimate the impact of words on you, which is easily done by those that ignore that everything they know is a word.

Words decide how you see you, and that when you change how you look at words, you change.

Stimulus response

Stimulus and our responses do not only explain what’s going on right now, but they also explain everything that happened in the past 4.65 billion years. By examining the past through the lens of stimulus response, we can understand the otherwise difficult to understand events of the past and how they continue to impact the world today.

The past

When we delve into the past and present, it becomes clear that there is a Before Words and an After Words.

The Before Words has taken up the first 99.9997% of the 4.65 billion years since the invention of Earth.

That means the After Words has been around for the most recent 0.0003% of the 4.65 billion years only.

In other words, the words and word-users have been invented 3/1000th of an Earth-Time second before midnight only.

To see what the words together with the word-users have achieved in these 3/1000th of an Earth-Time second, it’s enough to watch the news.

Past analysis

When we undertake an analysis of what happened in the past 4.65 billion years, we start to see what Vilfredo Pareto already saw 137 years ago, namely that roughly 80% of the responses come from 20% the vital few stimuli (stimuli being the plural of stimulus).

When read from top to bottom, the above depicted events are in complicated ways de-scribed as creation, evolution, or inventions.

But when read from bottom to top, the same events are simply the response to each preceding stimulus.

The complicated explanation of the past leads to intricate webs of cause and effect that underlie the stimulus response throughout time, realms, primary sources, scholarly research, subtle nuances, social, cultural, and political dynamics, deep layers of complexity beneath the surface, diverse perspectives, psychology, multifaceted responses, beliefs, adversity, ideologies, and comprehensive narratives that shed light on the motivations of creation, evolution, or inventions depending on how this chain of events that led to today — including the Before Words and the After Words — is de-scribed.

To each their own. I think inventions de-scribes it best when I’m the scribe.

The beauty of simple

Down the path less traveled it’s obvious that each step is simply the response to the preceding.

In this way, the beauty of simplicity that emerges.

Among the chaos, we find that the most impactful events — such as the invention of the words which revolutionized evolution — are rooted in the simple yet powerful formula of “Stimulus, Response”.

This simple formula is the driving force behind all creation, evolution, and inventions.

The beauty of simplicity is not limited to the Before Words (99.9997% of Earth Time) or the After Words (0.0003% of Earth Time) but can be observed across the entire 4.65 billion years since the invention of Earth.

It applies equally to the invention of the brains in response to the earlier invention of the eyes, as to the invention of liberty-equality-fraternity in response to the French revolution.

By embracing simplicity, we gain a better understanding of how it all began, of what happened since the beginning, and of what’s going on as we speak.

The beauty of simple reminds us that intelligence is not within us, in our heads, but without us, in the energy of the fire, air, earth and water that invented Earth and everything that followed, including us.

To understand words is not a walk in the park.

I should know, for I stumbled upon words back in 2016.

INTRODUCTION

THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY, WHAT CAN BE DENIED ONLY BY CONFIRMING IT, investigates and answers what everybody wants to know.

  • How did it all begin?
  • What existed before humanity?
  • Why are we here and the wordless aren’t?

Origin can be denied only by confirming it, a word. The same applies to the beginning and to humanity.

Before words, words didn’t exist for self-evident reasons. After words, the only question on the table is when did words, the beginning, and humanity happen?

Have words been with us forever, or have they arrived only when mother Earth gave birth to herself 4.65 billion years ago? Or did the words appear 542 million years ago when the eyes appeared, or maybe 42 million years later, when the invention of the eyes was followed by the invention of the brain? Or did words happen perhaps only 300 million years ago when animals of the homo type first showed up? Could it have been on a Tuesday 6026 years ago when nothing happened?

To keep you from guessing, the first (spoken-only) words are estimated to have appeared between 9500 and 18000 years ago. When exactly doesn’t matter.

The 13750 years ago used in THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY (WHAT CAN BE DENIED ONLY BY CONFIRMING IT) is the average between the low and the high estimates.

13750 years ago, the age was stone, the Sahara green, Northern Europe under 1-mile-thick ice, and writing hadn’t been invented yet.

Please feel free to estimate the exact date yourself. After all, that’s what words are for.

Much water has gone under the bridge since, with much other stuff too, some good and some bad.

The wordless remain as wordless as ever, but the wordy have climbed to the top of the food chain second to none. The self-declared crown of evolution, ready for breakfast on Mars, and with our sense of humor we can look at what has changed — the glorious, the fantastic, the absurd, and the non-sensical — and laugh about it, not sure if that’s scary or funny or how it benefits us.

Only one thing is certain beyond the shadow of a doubt. Without our sense of humor, we’d all go insane. If we haven’t already.

Everybody knows that nothing good will ever come from fighting the old. It takes a fresh perspective that makes the old obsolete.

For this and other reasons as well, THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY (WHAT CAN BE DENIED ONLY BY CONFIRMING IT) invites you to look at words as an alien might.

As you read my book, new landscapes will unfold that everybody knows have been there all along.

But as you will notice, the unfolding is you.

Of course, my book can offend for other reasons as well.

But let’s begin in the beginning

I wanted to write a book that gives readers hope. I believe that’s why you are here, and if we begin with what we agree on, it’s easier to understand what THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY (WHAT CAN BE DENIED ONLY BY CONFIRMING IT) is about.

We probably haven’t had the pleasure to meet in person yet, so let me briefly introduce myself to you.

My name is Beat Schindler. That I’m passionate about the origin of humanity is new even to me.

In my younger years, I used to believe the stories told to me by storytellers typically stronger and taller than me.

I believed not only that the world had been created, but also that I’m part of a family, community, nation, people, humanity, and brotherhood of man. On top of that, I believed I was born human and, therefore, that I’m separate from nature.

I’m not saying I was convinced, but over time I got used to it.

When I was older, in 2016, it suddenly occurred to me that humanity could be a word.

Six years and many doubters later, it turns out that humanity is indeed what can be denied only by confirming it.

Now I’m driven by what I feel and no longer see the point in tarting it up.

I’m passionate about the origin of humanity as well as about the origin of words, because the two events are identical.

If it wasn’t for words, humanity wouldn’t exist.

I no longer believe anything is separate from nature. Everything is part of the origin, including us, the word-users.

I reside in a country where writing about the origin doesn’t get me silenced, imprisoned, or cost me my life.

Everybody wished that the governments all over the world loved their children, too, but everybody also knows the state the world is in.

Words

I hear you, what in the world have words got to do with the origin of humanity?

All kinds of things are being said about words, depending on who is saying them, and what to believe is a question of character and personal preference, to each their own.

There’s nothing new about it.

In the beginning are the wordless — fire, air, earth, water, cells, plants, animals, eyes, and brains.

Who’s telling the story doesn’t make any difference.

13750 years ago, when words arrived, though they did nothing but divide the time on Earth into the Before Words and the After Words, they also changed the world more than any other event before or since.

I think it is no exaggeration to say words are the origin of humanity.

I’m not one to make new opinions or to invent anything. Everybody knows the word is a gift we’re meant to keep.

I think it is no exaggeration to say that the word is also the origin of you.

The story of you

For without words, you doesn’t exist, and the reason we’re here and the wordless aren’t, is because we have words and the wordless haven’t.

Nevertheless, in THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY (WHAT CAN BE DENIED ONLY BY CONFIRMING IT) I will do just that, talk of words the best I can to let you discover for yourself what words are, do, and have, how we respond to them, and what that says about us.

To produce the numbers, tables, and graphs in this book, I’ve worked with the help of the internet. I trust they will let you see what happened in liberating new ways.

Understanding words is never a question of quantity. There are always those who understand and those who don’t.

But on one thing, my friend, I give you my word.

When you change the way you look at words, the world changes.

Limits and truths

The truths and limits of your world have got nothing to do with what’s out there.

The limits and truths of your world have got everything to do with your meaning of words.

Well, what you can feel, hear, smell, taste, touch, or see, or if you have a word for it, or if you have another word for it, it’s a word.

For this and other reasons as well, you is also part of THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY (WHAT CAN BE DENIED ONLY BY CONFIRMING IT) — what you are, do, can, and have, how you respond, and what that says about you.

Philosophy

I’m a storyteller, not a philosopher, so what has philosophy, of all things, got to do with the origin of humanity?

Above marked in red, “Why?” is the basis of not only storytelling, but also of every philosophical pursuit.

I do read of philosophers whenever the time is right, most recently when I enrolled at the local “Journées philosophiques” earlier this year.

Among the speakers was Markus Gabriel, “a philosopher” according to Wikipedia (the world’s most-read reference work), “the thinker of the hour”, according to DIE ZEIT (over 270,000 subscribers use the digital ZEIT), and chair of epistemology and of modern- and present-day philosophy at the University of Bonn, Germany. For context only, a few of Markus Gabriel’s quotes.

  • “It would be better if man would learn to understand himself as an animal again.” 
  • “We will never know everything.”
  • “Society will always have to come to terms with man’s susceptibility to error.”
  • “We need an ethics of not knowing.”

A favorite of mine is Ludwig Wittgenstein, “considered by some to be the greatest philosopher of the 20th century”, according to Wikipedia. For context only, below a few of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s quotes.

The step-by-step guide to why the story of words isn’t told

Step 1

As you’d expect, your lesson begins with the first step.

Step number one is knowing that the word-masters have known in the beginning is the word since the beginning.

You don’t need to be a word-master to know what that means.

But you must know how it all began.

It all began with the invention of words, hence the saying “In the beginning is the word”.

Unless you’ve lived in a cave on a distant planet until today, I think you’ve likely heard about or seen in the beginning is the word in print.

Before Words

Above marked in red, nothing that you now have a word for exists in the wordless world Before Words, for what I think explains itself.

After Words

Equally marked in red, everything you now have a word for exists in the wordy world After Words because in the beginning is the word.

That’s how humanity, you, and everything else you have a word for began.

That’s right, a word couldn’t be anything else if it tried.

Therefore, without further ado, let’s move on to step 2.

Step 2

The story of words isn’t told partly because of Step 1.

If the story of words were told, it would be the death of the world’s longest-lasting lies.

In the beginning is the word.

God is no exception.

It couldn’t be anything else if it tried.

Words were invented 13,750 years ago.
Writing was invented 5,000 years ago.
Nobody knows what word was spoken in the 8,750 years between the invention of words and the invention of writing.
We know that during the word’s first 8,750 years, they were spoken only, meaning from whence the words had come, tither they returned again.
We don’t know where that was or could have been.

Step 3

If the story of words were told, it’d be the end of the organizations built on the world’s most successful lies.

They couldn’t continue to tell them in peace.

Imagine that.

Step 4

Now you know why the story of words isn’t told.

Improve on mistaking words for language with one simple technique

Many word-users mistake words for language, is usually how it works.

If that’s you, you can stop making the mistake with one simple technique:

Don’t do it.

Why bother?

Mistaking one word for another is the biggest mistake you can make.

Don’t do it.

For your own good and for the good of others.

I know what I’m talking about from personal experience.

Einstein

Maybe you know him, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

I’m talking about an altogether different Einstein, a (Swiss) TV show that “reports weekly on current and profound topics from all areas of knowledge.”

On June 1st, Einstein-the-TV-show’s topic of knowledge was “Miracles of language.”

Who wouldn’t want to know everything there is to know about miracles?

I don’t know about you, but I decided to watch it…only to discover a total absence of miracles. Instead of miracles, Einstein-the-TV-show simply did what many word-users do, they mistook words for language.

It’s the biggest mistake you can make because it prevents you from knowing the first thing about either.

When you mistake one word for another, such as words for language, Einstein-the-TV-show inadvertently confirms there are no exceptions, not even a TV show that is usually a 10 out of 10.

Mistake words for language

Mistaking words for language is a common mistake among word-users.

Word-users do not only often mistake words for language, but they just as often love to blame their mistakes on each other, or failing that, on something else.

In the case of mistaking words for language, they love to blame it on the world wide web, also known as the internet.

The internet gobbles up, stores, and disseminates more words faster than anything invented for that purpose before.

This is how the internet mistakes words for language.

  • “The English language contains several hundred thousand different words.” – ComputerHope “the free computer help since 1998.”

  • To name a few

Conditioned like that, is it any wonder that the word-users and their children routinely mistake words for language?

I think not, but from Einstein-the-TV-show I expected more than simply more of the same.

You can ask why of course.

After all, that’s what words are for.

To illustrate, let me briefly tell the stories of both words and language.

With language a word that couldn’t be anything else if it tried, let me tell the story of words first.

The story of words

Before Words and After Words, the wordless and the wordy worlds.

In the wordless world

In the wordy world After Words, everything you know is a word.mistake, language, universe, sun, moon, stars, atoms, particles, energy, electricity, fire, air, earth, water, insect, plant, animal, and newborn, to name a few, exist for equally self-evident reasons.

But there’s more to it.

Word-users can clearly see that words and language are different words. They don’t even look the same. Just as you cannot be someone else because that someone else is already taken, so words is taken by words and language is already taken by language.

There are no exceptions to this rule.

  • If you ignore what words can do to you, then you can have no empathy for what words can do to others.
  • Words do not matter (they possess zero electric charge).

  • Words can be denied only by confirming them.
  • Words defy our understanding of how evolution works.

If word-users mistook their friends for their enemies, their friends would speak up.

However, expecting words to speak up presupposes they have the organs required to speak.

The story of language

Language is a French word.

Language the French word is based on the equally French langue.

Translated to English, the French langue becomes tongue.

Had those in charge of English words taken the pain to translate language, we would now be talking of tonguage.

In other words, we’d now know what we’re talking about.

Luckily, it’s never too late to have a happy childhood.

Luckily, it’s never too late to learn that we’re not the only specie with a tongue.

Many of the other 8.7 million animals have tongues, too.

It follows that the number of tonguages spoken is equal to the number animals with tongues.
