HOW TO KNOW WHAT THE STORY OF WORDS GIVES YOU?

The story of words gives you ownership of words.

All it takes is for you to decide to give words a chance.

When you decide, blame and excuses will be a thing of the past.

And when things don’t go according to plan, you own every word, the ability to respond, too.

The power to change direction will be back to where it belongs.

You’re the captain of the ship.

Scary.

Yet liberating as hell.

Not sure what you’re made of?

Well, different things are said about you depending on what is saying them.

Your smart phone says

“You the second-person pronoun.” – Wikipedia
“You can refer to one or more people and is used as the subject of a verb or the object of a verb or preposition.” – Collins Dictionary
“You the one or ones being addressed.” – The Merriam-Webster Dictionary

I say

  • “You is an English word.”
  • “You is what English-speaking word-users use to describe you.”

Nothing happens

Nothing happens until it is believed, and nothing is believed until it is true.

It’s not just about you.

All of these are true:

Whether you believe your smart phone or me doesn’t make a difference to me.

It also doesn’t change you.

It only changes how you look at you.

That’s how the cards are dealt.

What to believe is a question of character and personal preference, to each their own.

There’s nothing new about it. It’s been that way since the beginning of words.

You = Word

That you is a word can be denied only by confirming it.

You cannot use you without using it.

You are, do, and have.

What you are, do, and have are different stories, not different yous.

This post is about what you are, so let’s forget about what you do and what you have for now.

You are

Different things are said about what you are depending on what is saying them.

Ashes to ashes

Word-users that read only one book say you are ashes to ashes dust to dust.

Why do they lie? Well, the subject matter is quite well-known.

The one book these word-users read is designed to instill fear, so it’s only natural that those that believe in fear should instill fear too.

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust is designed to make you believe that’s where and how you began and where and how you’ll end. At the risk of repeating myself, the subject matter is quite well-known.

The origin of humanity

The author of THE ORIGIN OF HUMANITY, I say you are made of the same elements that the planet is made of. Because there are no other elements to be found anywhere.

Naturally, so is everything that follows evolution.

Naturally, that includes you.

A closer look reveals you are 70% water, 30% fire-air-earth, and 100% cells.

The numbers don’t add up. Don’t worry, they will when they come together over you.

Like your ancestor, your body weight is 70% water.

Like our ancestor, you’re Nature’s child.

Like our ancestor, you’re an animal with words.

Unless the first that spoke the first (word) was a butterfly, a plant, a tree, a mountain, a lake, or something yet to be discovered.

Water

Water is infinite wisdom.
Some call it intelligence beyond words. The same thing.

Water has the perfect memory, always finds back to itself, and cannot be fooled, created, or destroyed. It responds to being observed before being observed, which means every decision a word-user can make, water has already made it. Water buffers the fluctuations in our planet’s temperature and separates the oceans below from the skies above.

Water to water

Forget the fearmongers.

Forget the ashes to ashes dust to dust bullpoop.

You are 70% water

70% of you is taken care of ahead of time.

Permanently.

It’s a circle game.

Don’t worry

Die happy.

Now or later, there is nothing to be feared.

In the meantime, to keep your inner mounting flame burning takes air.

When you believe you’re in control, what happens next?

Hello word-user, I know that for us it’s tempting to believe that we are in control.

And to assume that with 20 years or more of school under our belts, we are not easy to fool.

Not by a priest, a politician, or a prankster anyway.

Other word-users might get bamboozled by a cheater or a con artist, but not us.

The contrary is true.

No one fools you more than the words you use.

We are easy to fool

Yup, we don’t fool each other.

We fool ourselves by the words we use.

Have you ever been fooled by fake news?

If you don’t recognize fake news, they are words.

If you’ve ever been fooled by fake news, then you know you’ve been conned by a con artist’s words.

In this case, it concerns a word-master that used to be the prez of a country that once was mine.

Emotional reactions

If you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you, you lose.

You lose because if words control you, that means everyone else can control you.

And everybody knows, you can’t win with a losing hand.

Mirror mirror on the wall

When you look in the mirror . . .

. . . do you see what others see? Or is your reflection like Narcissus’, far less (or far more) attractive than what others see when they look at you?

You may assume that you are so good and so useful that anyone who doesn’t see that is confused or misguided.

For all I know you may feel like a hypocrite, a trickster or an unseen genius…

These are all forms of self-delusion.

Let go

Letting go of self-delusion is the hardest thing of all to let go of.

A useful exit might be to ask if it’s working, or to ask if the opposite is true for a minute or two.

Self-delusion becomes a habit fast, but it’s not the habit.

It’s the user.

What decides what you feel?

If not you decide what you feel, then somebody else is doing it for you as we speak.

In this case, you know what you must do.

But that doesn’t mean that you’ll do it.

Knowing what you must do doesn’t make you a better person.

Doing it does.

The marketplace

If the marketplace sees something of value, perhaps the marketplace is right.

And if they aren’t, you are free to develop the empathy to understand what’s missing in your story about what you do or how you do it.

Marketing to others begins with marketing to yourself.

Should self-deception be the rocket fuel to achieve your goals, it might be worth accepting it for a while, provided you remember that your ability to fool yourself at the same time disables your ability to create generous and useful work in the long run.

A delusional trance will eat away at your confidence and serenity.

I’m not saying it’s easy to see yourself as others do. All I’m saying is perhaps they’re onto something.

Words don’t make sense

To assume words make sense presupposes that they have the organs required.

I’ve looked at words from both sides now.

They don’t.

The one with the organs to feel, to smell, to hear, to touch, to taste, and to see — the sensational one — is you.

Freedom not used is freedom lost

Some word-users don’t want you to use your senses.

You probably know what I’m talking about. The subject matter quite well known. I’m talking about those that have been telling the world’s most successful lie for thousands of years with no end in sight because their business model depends on it. Those that want you to believe the truth is in a book of which they have a copy under their arm, to each their own, on the strength of which many have been, and continue to be as we speak, beheaded, tortured and — less frequent these days — burned at stakes,

Galileo saved his head by declaring that the same divinity that gives us the senses isn’t the same that doesn’t want us to make any sense until we die.

Each of your organs’ senses — feel, smell, hear, touch, taste, and see — can be duped by optical illusions and virtual realities. There are many ways to do this.

Most of what can be seen, heard, and known, you do not see, hear, or know.

But if you have any reaction to fake news, only the word-master that invented it will be happy.

This 13,750-year-old sales trick still works today

A 13,750-year-old sales trick continues to work as we speak, so you might of course want to know what it is and what we’re talking about.

Well, first things first, a trick is intended to deceive.

As you’d expect from a trick that has deceived without fail for the past 13,750 years — which is when the words got invented — is that it must have deceived as many word-users back when the age was stone, the Sahara green, and Northern Europe was under 1-mile-thick ice, as it continues to deceive now, 13,750 years later.

If you think that’s the 13,750-year-old sales trick this post is about, you’re spot on.

It’s as if time has left no trace on the workings of this nearly 14,000-year-old sales trick.

Sales implies that the trick is based on words. Needless to say, but for the purpose of this post I say it anyway, sales is a word, and so is trick.

In the wordless world, sales and trick don’t exist for obvious reasons. But in the wordy world, everthing is different.

In case you haven’t read all my articles published since July 10, 2023, let me remind you that there exist two types of citizens on planet Earth, the word-masters and the word-users.

The word-masters are word-users that have known in the beginning is the word since the beginning of words.

The word-users do as told by the word-masters.

There’s nothing new about the word-masters, the minority, and the word-users, the majority. On the contrary, the relationship between masters and users has remained unchanged for thousands of years, and now is no different.

All of us

The word-masters and the word-users alike, that is all of us, know from personal experience that we depend on context and contrast to stay alive.

Should we lose our ability to be in charge of our own context and contrast, that means we simply surrendered our senses and nervous systems to the private manipulation of those who would try to benefit from it. When this happens, you’ll be in trouble in the blink of an eye or by the end of the day, whichever comes first.

This we’ve known long before Maslow wrote it down for everybody to see, because, let’s face it, we’re all animals with words — though we love to pretend otherwise — so we know what we know with or without words learned at school.

After all, the 100% cells that we’re made of are wordless, too, and each cell knows much more than we’ll ever know.

The setup can be rigged

If you’re not in charge of your own context and contrast, then somebody else will be more than happy to take charge for you.

That somebody will likely be evil word-masters bent on taking advantage of this natural survival skill by rigging the setup in their favor.

When you surrender your senses and nervous systems to the private manipulation of those who would try to benefit from it, you have no rights left, and you don’t compare as you had initially intended, apples to apples, but you now end up comparing apples to oranges, or you can even be manipulated to believe an apple is an orange.

There are many ways to do this.
